Based in New York, Aisha Sylvain serves as The Health Management Academy’s senior director of member development. Her core emphasis is on building and maintaining productive relationships with partners across the health system and developing initiatives that help attain specific client objectives. Aisha Sylvain also works to develop future research efforts that are informed by insights from clients and hospital executives.

From 2015 to 2018, Ms. Sylvain held a position as associate director, health care business development, with The Advisory Board Company in Washington, D.C. Coordinating diverse consultative sales efforts, she generated renewable revenue exceeding $1 million annually. She also provided professional development coaching to associates in ways that enabled them to attain sales goals.

Ms. Sylvain’s role extended to serving as recruitment co-chair with the People of Color Affinity Group, and she also spearheaded programs centered on recruiting students from a variety of cultural backgrounds. One area of focus for Aisha Sylvain through the years has been working to end US health disparities and improve health and wellness among African Americans.
